Mind Blowing Paper Art

This is some sick-ass paper art created by Cheong-ah Hwang. The artist uses paper to make cool three-dimensional sculptures and likes to create art from paper because it is versatile and people use this material every day. Now I'm not sure if her work qualifies as papercraft or not (since I have no idea what papercraft is), but it does qualify as very freaking awesome and mind blowing. Hit the jump and be amazed.[more infovia].

Extravagant iPhone Case Artwork In Metal & Wood

Beautiful. Yes.  Another iPhone case based Exovault will clad your iPhone in Metal and wood. But these aren’t your typical American-designed, Chinese-made mass-produced cases. These are designed and made in Brooklyn, NY by people who are clearly committed to their craft. The care and craftsmanship that looks to have gone into the case above is certainly undeniable. They’re a bit pricey with prices running between $70 and $195, but they’re unlike anything else and seemed to be built to last.
The fragile iPhone 4 by itself should never be dropped, but once you wrap it in this "protective" case from Exovault you'll have two things to worry about. I mean, starting at anywhere between $70 and $195, these Brooklyn, NY-made cases better last. And with that caveat out of the way. [Exovault via Crunch Gear].
